Pefcares

Eight years, two missions, one message: every life has value.

The Promise Ebitu Foundation (Pefcares) was not born out of wealth or fame. It grew from lived experiences from pain, resilience, and an unshakable desire to serve. Over the years, our mission has remained simple: to remind people, especially the overlooked, that they matter

Our First Steps – Jalingo, 2011

In 2011, we made our very first outreach in Jalingo, Taraba State. We visited an orphanage, carrying food, supplies, and open hearts. But what mattered most that day was not the items we shared – it was the connection.

We laughed with the children, listened to their stories, and reminded them that they were not forgotten. That moment planted the values that still guide us today: empathy, community, sacrifice, and service. It also sparked a call to action -to keep creating spaces where vulnerable children can thrive.

Extending Hope – Prison Outreach, 2019

Eight years later, we returned to Taraba State with a bigger vision. This time, we walked through the gates of a correctional facility. Together with Trinity International Mission, led by Apostle Bob Harding, we carried out a prison outreach that went far beyond handing out supplies.

we brought food, hygiene items, and devotional materials. But more importantly, we brought presence a simple, human connection. We sat with inmates, listened, and reminded them of their dignity. For many, it was not just about receiving gifts, but about hearing words they had long forgotten: “You are still valuable. Your life has meaning. Redemption is possible.”

We also engaged prison authorities, advocating for better living conditions. The outreach became part of a broader call to see prison ministry not as charity alone, but as a pathway to reintegration, growth, and national development.

A Legacy of Compassion

From the dusty roads of Jalingo to the correctional walls of 2019, our message has remained the same: every human being deserves compassion, dignity, and a chance at transformation.

These visits were not just projects; they were seeds of a movement – a movement of love in action. At Pefcares, we continue to bridge the gap between forgotten populations and opportunities for healing.

And as more hands join this mission, we believe the legacy of Taraba lives on – reminding us that true service is not about what we give, but about how deeply we connect.
