The Promise Ebitu Foundation (Perfcares)

The Promise Ebitu Foundation (PEFcares) began in 2011 with a simple but powerful conviction: where others saw impossible challenges, we chose to see opportunities for transformation. Born out of the urgent realities of hunger, gender inequality, and lack of access to opportunities, our founders stepped forward with a vision to provide hope where it was needed most. What started as a small response to the struggles faced by communities has since grown into a movement that continues to light candles of hope across Nigeria.

Over the years, we have evolved from a bold idea into a force for impact, touching lives in Taraba, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Ekiti, and Abuja, as well as more than 15 local government areas. Our programs have empowered young people with digital skills, supported orphanages, and created sustainable partnerships with communities. To date, over 2,000 individuals have been directly impacted, and the ripple effect has extended to families and entire communities. Behind each number is a real person whose story has been changed forever.

This work is made possible by a growing team of 10 full-time staff and over 150 active volunteers, alongside local organizations and community leaders who share in our mission. Together, we are proving that true change happens when people refuse to accept the status quo and instead choose to act with compassion, consistency, and vision.

As we look to the future, our vision is bold and ambitious. Between 2025 and 2030, we aim to expand our presence to all 36 states of Nigeria, directly impacting over 10,000 lives through community-driven and sustainable programs. Beyond numbers, we are committed to equipping local leaders through leadership development training and creating initiatives that continue to flourish long after we leave.

But our journey does not stop at Nigeria’s borders. By 2028, we plan to extend our proven models into West Africa, beginning with Ghana, Togo, and Benin Republic. Looking further ahead, we envision building partnerships across Africa and even beyond, bringing our expertise to regions where our work can spark meaningful impact. Our story is still being written, and we invite partners, donors, and supporters to join us in shaping a future filled with hope, empowerment, and lasting transformation.
